Financé par le PEPFAR à travers CARE Cameroun, ce projet permet à Affirmative Action de couvrir la 10ème région non couverte par le Projet Fonds Mondial, en l’occurrence la région du Nord-Ouest, plus spécifiquement dans la ville de Bamenda. Il contribue ainsi à offrir aux MSM de la ville des services liés :

• À la prévention (mobilisation de la cible MSM, distribution du matériel de prévention et d’hygiène)
• Au dépistage volontaire (ciblé et en stratégie avancée)
• Au traitement syndromique des IST, au traitement des condylomes et à la santé de la reproduction
• Au suivi des patients (counselling pré et post test, référencement,  visites à domicile)
• Au soutien nutritionnel, aux violences basées sur le genre
• Accompagnement du client jusqu’à l’obtention d’une charge virale indétectable.

THE FRIENDSHIP CENTER (Affirmative Action Bamenda)

The managerial team of Bamenda accompanied with the pear leaders and CARE Cameroon supervisors

Situated at Foncha street opposite PNEU junction with it head office in Yaounde.  At Friendship Center, the follow services are provided to members of the key population. We carry out the following activities Outreach, HIV/AIDS testing and counseling , STI Syndromic Consultation and treatment , Gender Based Violence ( GBV) counseling , Tuberculosis counseling,  Hold Group talks and Support group session with our clients found positive with their Partners and prevention, linkage of clients found positive to HIV and follow up, Accompaniment of clients to the treatment centers and also Home visits, psychosocial Support and  last but not the least Condoms Demonstration and Distribution, with Family Planning. This services are provided both at the Drop In Center and in the Communities.
